Company Background

Mobile Locker is a supplier and operator of innovative smart storage and charging lockers for permanent locations and temporary events. We already operate at a large number of major festivals and events across Europe and are looking to establish a significant UK presence.
We are looking for a Festival & Events Manager to help us grow an exciting young business and manage staffing teams at events across the UK.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Driving new business prospects mainly in the festivals and events market
  • Actively search for new festival and event arenas
  • Selling the Mobile Locker Smart Locker system to festival and event organisers and pitching for the locker / phone charging contracts for large outdoor events / festivals
  • Negotiation of new contracts
  • Preparation of units prior to events, including administration of the ML online management system Organise temporary staffing teams, depending on festival size
  • Work with logistics companies for delivery of units to site
  • Work with festival installation team for set up and break down
  • Project manage during events and be onsite throughout event
  • Report back post-event on issues experienced or changes required
  • Report sales pipeline and actively manage the utilisation of units throughout the year. Opportunity to get involved with other areas of the business, eg. permanent storage installations

 

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Account management experience with B2B sales experience
  • Current festival and event experience
  • A passion for festivals and events and a desire to grow and develop a new business Ability to manage small teams and engage with both event organisers and end consumers
  • Ideally degree educated
  • Energetic personality, self-driven and the ability to operate independently when required
