The Active Beacon Photopost Project is a sculptural wayfinding project, currently being rolled out by Visit East Yorkshire in conjunction with a local designer, Galvin Brothers, based in Beverley. Linked to Coastal Monitoring, Blue Health, Photography & increasing physical activity levels, the initial project was linked to the King Charles III, England Coast Path where 30 posts have been installed in 5 cluster locations and has just been picked up by the BBC –https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-humber-67946430

Each post contains a unique hashtag with the public uploading images to social media. Each cluster location also has a QR code to track engagement – an example being in the first 12 months of the Flamborough Cluster we have seen over 8500 scans.
