As 2025 winds down and eyes turn toward 2026, event equipment and transport specialists, Events Crew are taking time to reflect on a season that has seen many new exciting chapters written, continued support of long-term clients and the expansion of both the business and premises.

2025 has seen several changes within the Events Crew Management team with Tyler Hounsell assuming the role of General Manager and taking over day to day operations. Tyler has been with the company for several years and has been working on the standalone transport and delivery side of the business which runs in parallel with the events.

Tyler comments: “This has been an exciting time and I am pleased to take up my new role. I look forward to continuing to push the business into new areas and maintaining our high standards for our valuable partners and customers”.

Brent Mitchell remains as Managing Director and will be turning his focus more to business development and exploring new opportunities. He comments “Tyler has worked extremely hard over the last few years and delivered on the practical day to day nature of the business but also our strategic development. I am pleased that he will be taking on this role and I am excited for the future. I would also like to thank our fantastic team who have worked tirelessly throughout the season.”

Brent will continue to support the events on the ground as he has done for many years with a renewed focus and vigour.

Events Crew have just completed on a new yard in Henstridge which adds another 3.5 acres of land to the existing outside storage portfolio. The new facility is called ‘Area 51’ and is near their Somerset HQ on Henstridge Airfield. The site has seen extensive work across the summer and is nearing completion.

Alongside the standard events, including the 22nd year of supporting IRONMAN in the UK, Events Crew have also forged valuable new partnerships with new clients and suppliers.

In addition, Events Crew have invested heavily in assets and stock including Trime lighting towers, ZND barriers, Pitagone HVM equipment and ground protection mats.

“Investing heavily in our lighting tower fleet has been a great move forward for the business, enabling us to take on much larger contracts. By offering lighting towers in addition to fencing, ground mats and transport, Events Crew can be a simple one stop solution for clients who may not have accounts with multiple suppliers.”
With 2026 looming large and a calendar that already has dates filling up, Events Crew have also increased their fleet with the addition of fifteen new vehicles and a increased team of drivers and support staff.

Already some of the most recognisable vehicles on the road, these additions will allow Events Crew to support more customers with their industry envied level of service and delivery.
