The National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) has announced yet another new sponsor for its annual Convention & Awards: the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD). The organisation represents a growing list of partners backing this year’s flagship celebration of the UK outdoor events industry, taking place 26th–27th November in Bath.
The addition will bring new reach to an event already recognised as the voice of excellence in outdoor events. The University of Wales Trinity Saint David will sponsor the Best Unsung Hero/Heroine Award, reflecting the many event professionals who make themselves indispensable, but invisible every day.
Vic Saunders, Assistant Dean in the Institute of Management and Health at University of Wales Trinity Saint David, added: “We are proud to support an award that celebrates innovation and excellence in education and training for the events sector. Our university has a long-standing commitment to developing the next generation of event professionals, and this partnership with NOEA aligns perfectly with our mission to connect learning, creativity, and professional practice.”
The University of Wales Trinity Saint David, with campuses across Wales and England, has extremely strong links with the tourism and events industries, both nationally and internationally, and is recognised for its dynamic portfolio of forward-thinking tourism and events programmes.
This year’s NOEA Awards & Convention will once again be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bath and the iconic Roman Baths and Pump Rooms, bringing together event organisers, suppliers, and industry champions for two days of discussion, celebration, and recognition.
With returning sponsors including Wasserman, GL Events, ARC Racing & Leisure Group, Training 4 Resilience, People’s Postcode Lottery, NCASS, and Lacey’s Solicitors already confirmed, the addition of two new, mission-aligned organisations underlines the growing profile and significance of the NOEA Awards & Convention within the UK events landscape.
