The B2C version of the #WeCreateExperiences campaign is activating in earnest on the 30th of March, on the back of the successful B2B campaign in December 2020, so we need your support on social media to ensure the key messages are shared far and wide.
We need to reassure consumers that the industry is ready to relaunch the experiences everyone has missed, not only to revive the UK economy but for the sake of everyone’s mental and physical wellbeing.
Through the campaign, we will encourage consumers to feel inspired by the range of experiences we deliver and reassured about purchasing tickets to experiences and getting all of our lives back to a sense of normality – we are also clear in our messaging on the journey we as the industry and the consumers are on, and that events will only come back in phases over time – so that together we can do this right.
We have galvanized a range of celebs to cover different interests and demographics to support this campaign through their own video posts which we will be teasing out over the coming days, as well as a main campaign video with them featuring in it – support has been gratefully received from:
Claudia Winkelman, Harvey Goldsmith, Ronan Keating, Graeme Park, Judge Jules, Clare Balding, Jonny Wilkinson, David Coulthard, Alistair Brownlee, Hannah Cockcroft, Poppy & Chloe Delevigne, Tom Kerridge, Angela Hartnett, Stuart Broad, Mark Chapman, Lewis Moody, Matt le Tissier, Andrew Strauss, Daley Thompson, Will Greenwood, Rory Bremner, Tracey Edwards, Sam Thompson, Mark Durden-Smith and a few more to come.
We also have media ambassadors supporting the press engagement in all the main regions: Rugby League World Cup 2021, Isle of Wight Festival, Lets Rock, Reading & Leeds (Festival Republic), Bournemouth Music & Sport Festival, Boardmasters, Welcome Yorkshire, Chelsea Football Club, Celtic Manor, Surrey Cricket, Sacha Lord – Warehouse Project/Parklife, ASM Global Venues, Wilderness/Lovebox, Cancer Research, Rotary International, Spinal Injuries Association… and a few more to come.
Using the #WeCreateExperiences hashtag, we want everyone to share the event they’re most looking forward to, whether it’s outdoor shows, festivals, live sporting activations, concerts, weddings or any other consumer event that they have missed – so as to showcase the range of experiences that touches people’s lives every day.
Please therefore share this call to action across internal and external newsletters, forums, social media platforms etc in the coming days. What we need from you: In the teaser lead up and from the 30th March activation launch, please re-share the B2C #WeCreateExperiences campaign content and
videos – on all OIOV social channels LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and #WeCreateExperiences website. Do get your friends, family, colleagues and clients to engage and reshare the post too – the more shares the better!
When sharing, include a quote that explains what event you have missed the most/are most looking forward to attending with a photo or video. (example quote can be found below).
“The Power of Live experiences simply wouldn’t be possible without the people who attend them, and I certainly can’t wait to be back at [insert or tag festival name/sporting event/weddings etc with [tag friends, family, community]! Together, #wecreateexperiences that are totally unforgettable.
Join me and share the event you’re most looking forward to in 2021 using the hashtag #WeCreateExperiences so we can all look forward to the reopening of the experiences we love!”
Thank you for all your continued support – your efforts will make a difference and will help to restore confidence amongst consumers. Please get sharing, tagging, reassuring and inspiring!
