The National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) has revealed fresh details of its flagship Annual Convention, promising a day of big ideas, debate, and connection for the outdoor events industry. Taking place on Thursday 27 November 2025 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Bath, the Convention, which celebrates 45 years of NOEA, will once again gather leading voices and rising stars to share knowledge and spark conversation about the future of events.
Following the announcement of Goc O’Callaghan as keynote speaker, NOEA is delighted to announce that her session will be followed by a lively industry panel featuring Alasdair Moore, Co-Founder & Director, The Intrepid Collective; James Thomas, Managing Director, Qdos; and Caroline Davis, Managing Director & Executive Producer, OPUS (Outdoor Places Unusual Spaces).
Together, they’ll bring their own perspectives on the key challenges and opportunities facing outdoor events in 2026.
Alasdair and the team at The Intrepid Collective, were standout winners at last year’s NOEA Awards, taking home accolades for excellence in event production and team achievement, as well as the Judges Award. Meanwhile, Caroline’s team at OPUS recently gained national recognition for their creative and sensitive handling of the Ozzy Osbourne procession in Birmingham, while James returns to the NOEA stage with his trademark forward-thinking insights.
Adding to the programme, NOEA will also welcome Cris Cicerello, Senior Vice President, Wasserman, and Iona Devaughn from Diverse for a dedicated session on talent in the events industry, a critical theme as the sector looks to secure, grow and retain the next generation of professionals.
The Convention follows NOEA’s prestigious Annual Awards on Wednesday 26 November at the Roman Baths & Pump Room, making Bath the beating heart of the industry across two memorable days of learning, celebration and networking.
Susan Tanner, CEO of NOEA, commented: “Every year we look to curate a programme that reflects the real issues our members and the wider industry are facing, while also inspiring them with new thinking. This year’s Convention will be about ideas you can take away and apply, conversations that make a difference, and the chance to be part of something bigger. It’s an essential date for anyone working in outdoor events.”
More speaker announcements and session details will be released in the coming weeks, but NOEA is already promising a convention packed with stimulating content, practical insight and invaluable opportunities to connect with peers.
