The National Outdoor Event Association (NOEA) will expand its flagship Annual Convention & Awards this year, introducing a bold new two-day format in response to exponential growth and rising demand.

With entries into the association’s awards rising continually in both quantity and quality over the last five years, and with more people attending both the day convention and evening awards session, not to mention the after-show party, NOEA is extending the event to a two-day format. The refreshed format sees the Awards and After Party take place on Wednesday 26 November, with the full-day convention following on Thursday 27 November, giving delegates more time to connect, celebrate, and collaborate.

The format allows for more networking for guests and delegates, one of the core reasons so many are attending the association’s annual showpiece. Equally, with the After Party continuing to increase in popularity, NOEA are working with sponsors to make it a larger activation and a broader celebration of the UK events industry.

At the same time, this year’s event takes place under the banner of ‘Live at 45’, a nod to NOEA’s 45th anniversary and a celebration of the enduring power of live events.

“The Annual Convention & Awards have continued to grow exponentially over the last few years, and we’ve looked to upgrade the format, increase the networking, pack in more fun, and make the education as cutting edge and contemporary as possible this year,” commented Susan Tanner, CEO, NOEA. “This is a big Birthday year for us, and we find the events industry facing new and unique challenges, but incredible opportunities. For us, it’s all about Live at 45.”
