The National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) has confirmed a new group of sponsors for this year’s NOEA Convention & Awards, with THE·TEAM, Training 4 Resilience, GL events and NCASS all backing the industry celebration.

The announcement marks the launch of this year’s NOEA Convention & Awards, which returns once again to Bath in November, and signals a moment for organisers, suppliers and event professionals across the sector to start bookmarking the people, businesses and experiences they believe deserve recognition.

As the outdoor events industry moves into its busiest operational period across the spring and summer months, NOEA is encouraging professionals to keep an eye out for the moments of creativity, leadership and teamwork that define the sector at its best.

“Across the country teams will be planning and delivering incredible experiences for audiences and communities,” commented Susan Tanner, CEO of NOEA. “The awards give us the opportunity to recognise that work, the people behind the scenes, the businesses driving innovation, and the events that capture the imagination.”

The sponsors themselves represent some of the most influential organisations working across outdoor events infrastructure, training, catering and global event production, underlining the strength and breadth of support behind the awards.

For GL events, whose long-standing relationship with NOEA reflects its deep roots within the outdoor events community, the Convention & Awards continues to represent an important moment in the industry calendar.

Rachel Baker, Director of Marketing & CSR, GL events, said the company is proud to continue its support for the association and the wider sector. “The NOEA Convention and Awards has become one of the key moments in the outdoor events calendar,” she said. “It’s important to us, as it means we’re behind an institution that recognises and rewards excellence, it’s great to be a part of.”

Global sports, music and entertainment company THE·TEAM also returns to support the programme. Cris Cicirello, Senior Vice President, THE·TEAM, believes recognising industry leadership is more important than ever as the sector continues to evolve. “For us, this isn’t just about recognising great events, it’s about shining a light on the people and the businesses who do things with high values, purpose, and responsibility. It’s why we support the awards, and it’s great seeing the stories of the winners.”

Training remains central to the sector’s continued development, something reflected in the support from Training 4 Resilience. Founder Bev Osborne, also President of NOEA, said the awards highlight the professionalism and collaboration that sit behind successful events. “NOEA is a hugely supportive and welcoming association that brings the outdoor events community together,” she said. “The awards celebrate the teamwork, dedication and best practice that underpin the incredible events we see across the UK every year.”

Meanwhile, NCASS, representing the food and catering businesses that play such a vital role in visitor experience, continues to support the programme. Alan Fox, CEO, NCASS, commented, “Outdoor events rely on a huge network of talented businesses working together to deliver memorable experiences,” he said. It’s fantastic to support an initiative that celebrates the people and organisations who make those events happen.”

Together, the sponsors reflect the breadth of expertise that supports the outdoor events sector and reinforce the collaborative spirit that has long defined the industry.

With entries expected to open soon, NOEA is encouraging professionals across the sector to start noting the projects, teams and individuals who demonstrate excellence throughout the season.
