The National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA), in partnership with A.C.T (National) Ltd, has announced today one of the key set pieces for the association’s annual convention. As part of the ‘It Could Never Happen to Me’ theme, A.C.T (National) Ltd will welcome Bev Osborne, Training 4 Resilience, a specialist in training for emergency response at events, to host a workshop style session for delegates.
The NOEA Convention & Awards will take place 21st November in Bath, and includes senior leadership figures from across the outdoor events industry. A.C.T (National) Ltd have been instrumental in the development of the programme, including the workshop with Bev Osborne. Within the session, delegates will focus on ‘preparedness’, be that everything from the preparation of teams, to testing event plans and finding out which improvements are required. Bev will present the audience with a live scenario, and encourage collaboration amongst delegates to find different approaches to dealing with the issue.

Bev Osborne specialises in developing and delivering training solutions addressing the crisis management and emergency response needs of events and venues, companies and organisations in the UK and overseas. She has designed and delivered over 150 crisis management and emergency exercises since 2007 for a wide portfolio of clients including Premiership Football and Rugby Clubs; Music Festivals and Concerts; the NATO Summit; the Tour de France and all London 2012 Olympic Venues.
The NOEA Convention & Awards will take place in Bath, 21st November, with the day convention taking place at The Guildhall, and the evening Awards in the Pump Rooms.
