Leeds Castle is a stunning, 900-year-old moated castle, set in 500 acres of Grade 2 listed parkland, situated in the beautiful Kent countryside.  Owned by six medieval Queens and a succession of private owners, the estate has, for centuries, been a glamorous retreat for the rich, famous and well connected.

The Castle has been open to the public through the Leeds Castle Foundation since 1974 and has continued her story as a luxurious retreat since then, hosting major events such as the Northern Ireland Peace Accords.

Today the Castle is a popular visitor attraction, offering beautiful gardens & parkland, Birds of Prey Centre, playgrounds, accommodation, functions & weddings and, of course, the Grade 1 listed Castle herself.  Income to care for this special place comes from visiting, along with the important hospitality business.
