 Ricardo Gazzini Aka Richard Compton is the UK’s only known classic jazz DJ with credits that include the Bedford River Festival, Cambridge Polo, Cambridge Law Society, Fitness 1st, Isle of Wight Jazz Festival 2006 and 2007 along with charity functions for Sue Ryder, the MacMillian cancer appeal and performed over two days at the biggest UK swing Glenn Miller festival at twin woods historical airfield in Clapham, Bedfordshire.
He also as played sets in between some of the country’s best jazz performers, Ricardo’s knowledge of jazz spans over 30 years from traditional to bebop, swing, easy listening and classic jazz, he provide a service for corporate, garden parties, birthday’s and anniversaries.
Equity status, member of the Performing Rights Society and NOEA, he feels that what he provides is a class in itself playing the best of artists past and present over other DJ’s that play music which can be overpowering with thumping drum beats and harsh melodies with self ego.
