Code of Practice

MEMBERS AGREE TO:
  1. Conduct themselves according to the highest ethical standards when participating in, or organising, an event.
  2. Possess prior to undertaking any event the financial viability to be able to guarantee the payment of all suppliers for services rendered in connection with that event.
  3. Provide and maintain the highest possible standards of health, safety, cleanliness and presentation.
  4. Possess appropriate and adequate insurance.
  5. Adopt, where applicable, trade union agreements and approved forms of contract.
  6. Honour all contractual commitments and governmental legislation.
  7. Mediate fairly and promptly any disputes, to offer the benefits of the Association's Arbitration Service and to abide by its decision.
  8. Apply those relevant Codes of Practice and Conduct established by other professional bodies and which are recognised by the Association.
  9. Undertake their responsibilities competently, reliably and honestly.
  10. Further the purpose of the Association by assisting in promotion of the standards, status and interests of the Outdoor Events Industry at all times.
